Founded in 1963, Vi-COR is a manufacturer of world-class fermentation products for animal feeds. Vi-COR is an established global company with 40 years of fermentation research and development headquartered in Mason City, Iowa.

Originally the company primarily produced a blend of lactobacillus fermentation solubles and corn germ meal. The two ingredients were blended together to produce a nutritional, fermented animal feed supplement. In 1974 Vi-COR received the patent for cultured lactic acid labeled under the Kulactic® brand, and in 1999 Vi-COR introduced A-Max® Yeast Culture products.

Today, Vi-COR has expanded from its beginning as a domestic manufacturer of unique feed ingredients to a company with a global focus in the disciplines of applied microbiology, fermentation chemistry and customer-driven products. Through a combination of highly skilled technicians, in-house laboratory testing and associations with outside laboratories, Vi-COR guarantees their clients the finest quality fermentation products at a competitive price to fit their needs.
